Sean is a life-long advisor to driven, creative, and curious leaders. He heads Oliver Wyman’s private capital team in Asia Pacific and its Malaysia business. He was previously the managing partner of our Northern European business.
Sean has over 30 years of consulting experience building businesses and leading innovative programs — from some of the first asset backed securities in the 1980’s to helping create some of today’s unicorns in the financial services sector. He has deep expertise in helping governments navigate multiple financial crises to rebuild robust banking systems.
I advise our clients on how to achieve transformative change, whether that be deploying capital to help entrepreneurs, management teams, and boards build their business, or government bodies to build capabilities and capacity to serve the public better
In the financial services industry, he has advised major universal and investment banks, life insurance and consumer finance companies, private equity, and asset management firms on changes to market and competitor evolution.
Creating an inclusive and diverse workforce is important to me. That’s why I advocate the hiring of refugees in Oliver Wyman and sit on the board of Mitt Liv, a social enterprise that’s a leader in helping companies make the workplace a more inclusive environment
Sean has lived, worked, and led teams across three continents, many countries, and more cultures.
