Adam Chonich is a Partner at Oliver Wyman in our Turnaround and Restructuring Practice in Chicago.

He brings over 15 years of experience providing operational turnaround and crisis management services to companies, lenders, creditors, and equity investors. Adam’s expertise includes bankruptcy preparation and case administration, corporate footprint optimization, product and business rationalization, liquidity management, and cash management office buildout.

In addition to his extensive bankruptcy and insolvency experience, Adam leads the development of liquidity management, tools, and cash management offices for middle market and multinational organizations. His career spans many industries, the majority focusing on the mobility space, including automotive, aerospace, and defense. He represents clients in various jurisdictions globally.

Adam’s most recent work involves leading restructuring projects for a UK-based aerospace supplier and a crypto mining company that has more than 8% of the total bitcoin mining market share.

Adam is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received both a Master and Bachelor in Accounting. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).

Outside of work, Adam can be found navigating the waters of the Great Lakes or backcountry skiing snow-covered mountains around the world.
