Ed serves as a vice president in our Operations Consulting Sector for Oliver Wyman Vector, based in the Westlake, TX office.

As a long-term veteran of the aviation industry, he is a proactive team builder, experienced in leading diverse, complex multi-level organizations and advising clients. Ed’s focus areas include strategic planning, turnaround management, and innovative process improvement.

Ed enjoys helping others succeed and find their own compass and is motivated by taking on difficult situations — one of his favorite sayings by Henry Ford is, “When everything seems against you, remember the airplane takes off against the wind.” He enjoys helping people navigate these difficult journeys and find ways to bring success and pride back into the team or organization.

My dad told me, ‘If you can’t solve the problem, at least leave things better than you found them.’ This piece of advice has helped me enjoy my career and life

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman Vector, Ed served in a variety of technical and operational roles at several airlines, maintenance, repair, and overhaul operators, and manufacturers. He has held roles in aircraft maintenance operations, quality operations, manufacturing operations, manufacturing quality, and completion center operations. He began his career as a mechanic with an airline in Los Angeles, before moving to airline operations and manufacturing.

Outside of work, Ed tries to spend as much time as he can with his wife, Sherri, and their three grandchildren doing absolutely whatever they want to do. He also enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, and an occasional hunting trip.
