Based in Dallas, Brian is a partner in both the Transportation and Operations Practices at Oliver Wyman. He is largely focused on operations and strategy consulting, with projects spanning organizational and operational improvement, restructuring, strategic supply chain improvement, operational and financial performance assessment, and strategic acquisition support.

The pace of change and innovation keeps increasing. Every company wants to stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in their markets and industries, but it’s near impossible to do so. Our clients rely on us to help them stay ahead of trends and changes and quickly adapt

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Brian held various positions in field, corporate, and franchise operations in the retail sector. Before earning his MBA with an emphasis in Corporate Finance from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, Brian ran a number of retail locations and it was during this phase of his career that that he learned about team and client needs and how to develop strong relationships. This experience continues to serve him well, he says. “Today, I look at everything as an opportunity to get better and to help someone with their business. I think this focus on helping other people grow, develop, and do better in their business is a natural progression for me.”

This attitude has paved the way for the successful execution of numerous client engagements – including large scale transformations, financial and operational due diligences and strategy development and deployment in multiple industries. A key challenge that several of Brian’s aviation clients are currently facing is the lack of talent entering the industry– from pilots, to technicians, to leaders. “With all of the changes in the industry over the last decade, there are fewer places to develop and train the leaders and executives of tomorrow. We are left asking where the next generation of leaders is going to come from.”

Outside of work, Brian is a proud father. “Between my son, my wife, and my mother-in-law who lives across the street from us, my weekends are usually full of chasing the three of them around.” He also enjoys tennis, golf, and fixing up classic cars.
