The richness of Black British history can be traced back as far as 100AD and the long linage of value and contributions that Black people have made to the UK over centuries. This contribution to British history continues, in fact Black History is happening NOW.
We are delighted that the Black Cultural Archives have worked with Transport for London to release a new version of the iconic London tube map. In this version, station names have been replaced by Black people from history who have made our capital city and country what they are today.
