And as market demand heats up, the European aerospace supply industry also must deal with new competition from emerging countries, OEMs seeking to create an international supply base, and regulators who are writing stronger environmental rules for aircraft. Aerospace suppliers will need to become more innovative and agile to keep up.
To understand the challenges currently facing European aerospace suppliers, Oliver Wyman interviewed 40 European senior aerospace executives at original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. This study highlights the major trends these executives see and ways in which aerospace suppliers can react to generate profitable and long-term sustainable growth.
