Unprecedented supply chain challenges have resulted in delays in aircraft deliveries. This raises the question: is it time for airlines to reconsider their long-term fleet strategy? This session will explore the considerations influencing airlines’ decisions on fleet expansion, fleet modernization, and retrofit investments, and how they can ensure they are investing wisely in their fleets. Key topics include metrics or indicators used to gauge investment returns on fleet modernization. We will also examine whether spending is on target or if adjustments are needed in the long run.
