Overview
This year’s InnoTrans event, a leading international trade fair for transport technology, takes place from September 24 to 27 in Berlin, Germany.
InnoTrans is organized in five segments: railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interiors, and tunnel construction. The event will utilize all 42 halls at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
This year, InnoTrans spotlight’s important key themes including AI mobility, new technologies in railways, passenger experiences, sustainability, public transport, digitalization in rail freight, and more.

This roundtable will cover the challenges and advances in sustainable train manufacturing, the use of sustainable materials, and the role of customer perception in driving industry change.
Key topics will include hard-to-abate materials, circular economy advances, and the commercial process for sustainable materials in rolling stock and services.
This session will take place at the mezzanine area at the Wabtec stand. There are limited seats available for this event.

The challenge is to create a roadmap, secure financing, and involve industry innovation promptly. Best practices in urban mobility and Germany's positioning are also important considerations.
