Over the years, procurement has traditionally focused on cost control and reduction, but the needs of businesses are changing. We are now seeing an evolution of the Chief Procurement Officer’s role towards a Chief Performance Officer function. The pandemic has, without doubt, accelerated this transformation, with businesses looking to extract more of the value that procurement can bring. We explored this evolution, along with future trends, in our online event for CPOs and Supply Chain Leaders in Italy.
Come sta cambiando il ruolo del Chief Procurement Officer?
