Transportation Partner David Stewart examined how the COVID-19 demand environment is changing long-term forecasts for fleet and MRO activity. With a view into short, mid, and long-term implications, he discussed how the recent crisis impacts the Asia Pacific engine community. David walked through which fleets will see the most material impact from earlier retirements and mismatched production versus delivery schedules as well as corresponding aftermarket impacts from these changes including MRO spend globally and regionally, macro shifts in-shop visits, and strategies such as the use of green time engines.
