Overview
In collaboration with the Digital Markets Taskforce, Oliver Wyman will be convening a group of senior influencers and decision makers, across public and private sector, for a roundtable on the Future of Tech Regulation.
The Digital Markets Taskforce has been set up by the Government to advice on the functions, processes and powers which may be needed to deliver on the government’s objectives in competition in online markets. The government will make final decisions on what proposals to take forward. The Taskforce hopes to draw on the discussions at the roundtable in preparing this advice.
The roundtable will cover:
The tangible benefits regulatory cooperation and coherence delivers
How to achieve cooperation and coherence between domestic regulators
The value of supranational coordination and the problems arising from lack of coordination as the regulatory landscape matures
