Merchant Advisory Group (MAG) 2020 Annual Conference And Tech Forum

On October 13-22, we attended the Merchant Advisory Group 2020 Annual Conference and Tech Forum. The MAG is the leading US association for merchants to discuss payments related issues. We were excited to return as sponsors to the MAG as we explored merchants’ growth strategies in a radically changing global payments ecosystem. In this rapidly evolving industry, all players must quickly find their footing to remain competitive.

In November, the MAG will host a virtual education event, Asia 2020 Virtual Connect, for their Asia-Pacific (APAC) merchants. This event will feature payments topics that impact the APAC region, and will include Rob Mau who will moderate the panel around the EMV® 3D Secure Standard.

1. Beth Costa facilitated a discussion with leading merchants including Walmart and McDonald’s on the topic of payments and customer experience.
2. Rob Mau moderated a panel titled “Whose Data is it Anyway?”, which will focus on what happens to data as it passes through the payments value chain.  
3. Coming up at Asia Virtual Connect, Rob Mau will moderate a panel titled "EMV® 3DS - The Current State" where a group of experts discuss the current implementations from a range of views from across the payments ecosystem.
