For the second straight year, respondents to Oliver Wyman’s 2018 MRO Survey ranked the escalating presence of original equipment manufacturers in the aftermarket as a top disruptor for the industry.

Congratulations to Dave Marcontell, the General Manager of CAVOK, a division of Oliver Wyman, on receiving this year's Nuts & Bolts Award at MRO Americas 2018. The Airlines for America Nuts & Bolts Awards recognize exceptional service and contribution in the engineering or maintenance fields of the commercial aviation industry. Each year since 1967, the Airlines for America Engineering, Maintenance and Materiel Council has bestowed the award on one individual for contributions as an airline employee and one individual from a different segment of the industry. Dave, an FAA-licensed pilot and mechanic, was recognized as "an airline visionary, advisor, and business partner whose technical contributions and commercial acumen fundamentally support all facets of MRO industry success."
