Tim is a principal in our Transportation and Services Practice, with a focus on commercial aviation, distribution, and broader travel.

He collaborates closely with various stakeholders in the travel sector, including airlines, airports, and travel agencies. His driving force is a deep passion for instigating substantial change in the aviation and travel industry, and he believes in achieving this transformation through collaboration.

With a career spanning 12 years in the aviation and travel sector, Tim has made significant contributions. His experience includes consulting roles at Seabury (now part of Accenture) and Oliver Wyman, as well as leading commercial strategy for travel agency customers at Travelport (Galileo) GDS. His expertise lies in airline commercial functions, particularly indirect distribution.

The most successful projects I’ve been involved with have consistently featured three key elements: a passion for the topic and the direction of change, a deep-seated collaboration across all boundaries, and a sense of fun at the heart to help navigate through the most challenging moments

Tim's accomplishments include key involvement in ONE Order transition planning and various sales and distribution initiatives. He has also supported network strategy and development, conducted major merger and acquisition (M&A) and airline start-up assessments. As the industry has shifted its focus, he has also contributed to a World Economic Forum Airport Sustainability publication. His expertise extends to supporting airports, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and maintenance, repair, and operations (MROs).

Tim holds a master’s degree in physics from Durham University, UK. He has lived in the UK and Hong Kong, with extended stays in Singapore, Japan, and New York. His work has also taken him across diverse regions including Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and India.

Outside of his professional life, Tim is a qualified private pilot who enjoys spending time in the mountains or on the water.
