Stephen is a partner in Oliver Wyman's Transportation and Services Practice in the Americas, specializing in aerospace, defense, and government (ADG) industries, where he leads our Space team.
He brings a unique combination of industry executive management and consulting experience in space, satellite, and related industries. This enables him to offer informed insights and perspectives to clients as they make critical decisions about their strategies, organizational structures, business models, and operations. He works closely with senior leaders at Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies, as well as NASA and non-profit technology and research organizations.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Stephen was a managing director and leader of the Space Practice at Avascent, the largest strategy and growth consulting firm in the ADG industry. Before that, he was in the Aerospace and Defense Practices at Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to his management consulting work, Stephen was a strategy and business development executive in the satellite and telecommunications industries, including at Intelsat and 360networks. He serves on the boards of directors of the Washington Space Business Roundtable and Women in Aerospace.
Stephen grew up in the great city of Chicago and now lives in Washington, DC, where he raised his three children. He spent his childhood summers in Mobile, Alabama, and visits family in Arizona and Massachusetts whenever he can. He enjoys trail running, tennis, cooking, and is always up for a game of softball or pick-up basketball.
