Sam is a senior manager focusing primarily on the Medicare Advantage Part C market. Based in our Chicago office, he joined our Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting team in 2022.
He is also an associate in the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He specializes in Medicare Advantage pricing, strategy, risk adjustment, provider contracting, and forecasting among various states and products including special needs plans.
Sam’s experience also includes prescription drug consulting, payer/provider risk sharing, cost performance and benchmarking, CMS MA desk review, bid audits, medical management benchmark and layer analysis, as well as risk adjustment accruals and projects.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing field baseball and softball during the season. He has been awarded MVPs, All-Stars and various other awards in numerous tournaments over the past years.
Sam holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in actuarial science from DePaul University.
