Mike is a partner and the co-head of our Finance and Risk Practice for the Americas.
He has nearly two decades of experience advising large domestic and foreign banks, financial market infrastructure entities, and other non-bank financial services firms on complex risk and finance transformations. In addition to his practice leadership role, Mike also leads the firm’s US regional bank coverage team.
Mike has made significant contributions to his clients on a range of themes, including organizational transformation, financial resource management, and risk organization and governance. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative risk management frameworks and comprehensive regulatory remediation programs that integrate seamlessly into the practices of large organizations. His work helps financial institutions align with evolving regulatory expectations and unlock more effective, efficient growth.

Mike has led the Oliver Wyman team in our joint Chief Risk Officer Outlook survey with the RMA and is a frequent author and speaker on a range of risk and finance topics. He graduated with the highest honors from Princeton University.
Outside of work, Mike is the proud father of two, and in his free time, he can be found on the fencing piste or experimenting with a new recipe.
