Mike is a Senior Advisor at Oliver Wyman. As a recognized leader in the Public Sector world, he provides expertise on how to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

He has held senior leadership roles in the three largest UK Departments of State. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at the Ministry of Defence. In this role, he obtained deep knowledge and experience in leading operational delivery, transformation and cultural change in large, complex organisations. In 2012, he was appointed CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for Public Service in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Mike is passionate about leadership, coaching others to achieve their full potential, and unlocking previously untapped talent. Outside of work, he enjoys most non-sedentary activity, and is a passionate tennis player.
