Michael is a partner in our Chicago office, with over 20 years of consulting and leadership experience in the automotive, construction, agriculture, mining, material handling, and industrial equipment sectors.

He specializes in commercial growth strategies, digital transformation of dealer systems and customer-facing solutions, aftermarket optimization, and green premium strategies for hard-to-abate industries. His work with global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), their dealer networks and suppliers has led to innovative business models, connected asset and predictive maintenance solutions, improved asset financing strategies, and new venture development.

In addition to management consulting, Michael has held leadership positions at Caterpillar, John Deere, DowDuPont, and several startups, giving him a holistic perspective on business challenges.

He has also led successful engagements in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy, including full-cycle business-to-business technology deals, and works with private equity clients on pre-deal buy- and sell-side diligence for on- and off-highway industrial vertical SaaS solutions.

Michael’s broad education and diverse experience equip him with a well-rounded perspective and versatility to tackle client challenges and drive transformational outcomes while ensuring strategies are practical and effective in the real world.

Michael holds an MBA in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the mountains of Utah, long-distance running, paddleboarding, and reading philosophy. He and his wife, Erinn, live in Winnetka, Illinois, with their four children.
