Michael is a Partner at Oliver Wyman in Munich. Within the transportation and retail practices, Michael supports postal, parcel, and logistics companies, retailers, and other multinational companies on the European market. 

He specializes in strategy, operations, supply chains, and multichannel retailing. Moreover, Michael leads Oliver Wyman’s global Sustainability Center. He helps customers unlock growth through clean technology and sustainability solutions by combining economic growth and environmental awareness, with a special focus on energy, infrastructure, mobility, transportation, and waste.

Michael studied Business and Economics at the Otto-Beisheim Graduate School of Management (WHU) in Germany, France, and Australia, and holds a PhD and an MBA.
