Micaela is a director in the Oliver Wyman Vector Operations Consulting focus area, where she supports the Transportation and Services Practice.

Her expertise lies in managing multi-year operational transformation programs and delivering culture change initiatives for continuous improvement (CI). She has worked across various industries, including aviation, aerospace, rail, cargo, and logistics.

Micaela works with operational teams at all levels, from the front-line to the executive suite. Her approach to operational excellence is designed to guide clients through the entire transformation process, from identifying value opportunities to achieving sustainable change. She utilizes proven tools and methodologies to drive results at each phase of the transformation, including continuous improvement implementation and training, value stream mapping, and optimizing flow through 5S workplace organization and facility layout.

Much of my time is spent coaching and training all levels in continuous improvement techniques and problem-solving. My goal is not only to solve problems for individuals and organizations but also to empower them to develop their own solutions and drive meaningful change

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Micaela gained valuable experience working in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Leader roles at Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky, and Carrier Corporation. She holds an MBA from Purdue University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.

In 2019, Micaela embraced a nomadic lifestyle, which she has continued even during the pandemic. She has spent considerable time supporting clients or working remotely in various locations, including Australia, the UK, Hawaii, North and South Carolina, and Georgia. During her travels, she enjoys visiting independent bookstores, attending ice hockey games, indulging in local desserts, and immersing herself in new cultures and exploring historical sites.
