Melanie Dunn is a partner and leads Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial office in Seattle.

Melanie specializes in actuarial consulting for life insurance and annuity companies. She has extensive experience in model governance and controls, model building and software conversions, model validation, financial reporting, litigation support, and mergers and acquisitions. Melanie has spent her entire career with Oliver Wyman, developing and growing strong relationships with her clients and others in the insurance industry. She has a passion for collaborating with her clients, tackling tough problems, and mobilizing teams to meet challenging deadlines.

Melanie is a frequent speaker at industry meetings, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

In 2018, Melanie expanded the Actuarial Practice by opening their Seattle location. The Pacific Northwest is ideal for Melanie’s after-work passions: ultrarunning, mountaineering, and backpacking. She is excited to be growing the Oliver Wyman Actuarial presence in the Pacific Northwest.
