Matt is a senior managing designer in 8works. He joined the firm in 2019, and has seven years’ experience in working collaboratively and creatively with clients across all industries to find the solutions to their toughest challenges - from vision and strategy, to operating model transformation. 

As part of Matt’s work, he takes a people-centric approach to designing and delivering collaborative working experiences that bring large groups together to align around their problems and design quality solutions in an accelerated way, that creates ownership across the business. 

Over the last few years, Matt has played a leading role in developing Oliver Wyman’s approach to remote collaboration to support our clients to achieve impact in a virtual setting – including using a ground-breaking TV studio model. His recent engagements include helping to build an aligned, activated leadership movement for a major global financial markets player following a multi-billion acquisition, and supporting the top 200 of a defence client to transform the way in which they lead. 

Matt was also part of Oliver Wyman’s 2022 Global Leadership Team Council cohort - a group of non-executive colleagues from across the firm that provides new insights and perspectives to our most senior leaders and helps define and deliver the firm’s long-term strategy and key firm initiatives.

Matt enjoys drawing broadly upon his passions to find creative inspiration - from improvised comedy to pop music. He is a keen runner and has completed three marathons, and is an enthusiastic five-a-side footballer. He has a BA in History from Oxford University, where he was a two-time finalist of the European Universities Debating Championships.
