Martin is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Digital Practice, where he focuses on large-scale process change and technology modernization initiatives for clients within the firm’s Corporate and Institutional Banking Practice.

In his previous roles, he has led teams to establish new operating models and drive improvements in efficiency and scalability, by leveraging advanced technologies and data architectures. He also dedicates time with clients in other industries that have similar challenges with aligning large scale data and technology infrastructures with the needs of their businesses and people.

As an engineer, I’ve always approached technology as a means to solve problems for businesses and people. The interaction between new technologies and the people who use them unlocks new potential for our clients

Martin has dedicated nearly a decade of his career to various roles within global financial institutions, ranging from structuring derivatives for hedge funds to spearheading new product development in corporate innovation programs. His experience also extends to more than 10 years of consultancy across diverse industries, with a special emphasis on capital markets and asset management clients.

In addition to his corporate roles, Martin has founded and grown several boutique professional services and product businesses, including a startup incubator tailored for fashion and luxury brands. He has also led a business unit at a major data vendor in the consumer retail space, where he gained experience in organizing and driving a product-led approach to revenue generation.

He is a University of Waterloo graduate with a degree in Systems Design Engineering and an MBA with a Finance major from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His academic adventures also include 12 years as an adjunct professor at the Parsons School of Design, teaching undergraduate courses in strategy and entrepreneurship.

An avid runner and climber, Martin lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two young sons, who force him to watch a lot of European football.
