Based in our Chicago office, Luke is a consultant at Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, joining the team in 2021.
In his three years at Oliver Wyman, Luke has most notably been involved in Medicare Advantage Part C pricing as well as ACA filing reviews for several state regulators. In addition, he has gained over a year of experience using Oliver Wyman’s healthcare reform microsimulation (HRM) model, where he has participated in modeling the impacts of proposed legislations in the ACA market such as state reinsurance programs and premium subsidy enhancements at both the state and nationwide level.
One great lesson I've learned is to embrace the importance of the ‘why’ behind each business challenge. This approach has not only expanded my expertise as a healthcare actuary, but also enabled me to deliver data-driven solutions for our clients
Luke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he holds a Bachelor Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science.
In his personal life, Luke enjoys playing sports such as soccer and basketball. He is originally from Wisconsin and has spent most of his life there, so naturally, his favorite sports team to watch is the Green Bay Packers. Outside of work and sports, he enjoys traveling to new countries whenever he has the opportunity.
