Based in the Oliver Wyman Vector office in Atlanta, John is a vice president with more than 25 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industries and Digital Products.
His areas of expertise include flight operations, digital transformation, agile software development, program leadership, software product strategy, and aircraft network cybersecurity. He provides guidance to clients conducting mission critical digital transformation initiatives, leadership alignment in complex programs, and execution best practices for software product and software delivery teams.

Prior to Oliver Wyman Vector, John was a managing partner at SeaTec Consulting where he led the Aerospace, Defense and Government, and Digital Practices. Before that John was CEO of APIJet where he led the development of a cloud connected aerospace data platform for commercial operators. He has also held pilot roles in the US Navy and at Delta Air Lines. His deep background as an operator in the aerospace system, combined with leadership roles in technology and software development allows him to help clients succeed in complex digital transformations, program recovery, and aircraft network cybersecurity programs. John is a graduate of Georgia Tech, Emory University, holds an Airline Transport Pilot license, and is type-rated on the Airbus A350 and Boeing 757/767.
Outside of work, John stays connected to Georgia Tech and Emory University as he lives close to both. He spends a great deal of time with his wife, exercising, walking their dog Violet, reading, and expanding his knowledge of wine.
