Jean-Patrick leads the Government and Public Institutions Practice in France.

Serving public sector clients globally, he is a seasoned practitioner of a wide range of public policies, including national resilience, economic and social development. He also specializes in fiscal and financial policies, central banking, as well as environmental, social, and corporate governance strategy. 

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Jean-Patrick spent 25 years working as a senior official with the French government as well as with European and international institutions. He played a leading role in several presidencies of the G20, the G7, and the European Union.

Most notably, Jean-Patrick was “in the cockpit” for several, major transformations and mileposts including the creation of the euro, the response to the global financial crisis, as well as the European debt crisis, the creation of the European Banking Union, and, more recently, the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He holds three Master’s Degrees in Public Administration and Law and Economics, from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris) and Sorbonne and Panthéon-Assas Universities. He also teaches international economics and governance in various academic institutions.
