Davide is the global chair of our Government and Public Institutions Practice.
He founded the practice soon after the 2008 great financial crisis to recognize the importance of governments and multilateral organizations in shifting economic systems from excessively laissez-faire to a more directive, policy-driven, and regulated model, and perhaps reversing that in the future.
My university studies taught me logic, problem-solving, and economic systems. Oliver Wyman taught me how to grasp client systems, build consensus, and deliver results. Clients from both private and public sectors have taught me that every client problem is unique and one size does not fit all
Davide’s work has concentrated on innovation, economic development, “crowding in” foreign and private capital, international development finance, institutional reform (including the effectiveness of public institutions), and corporate governance. Most of his work has been with national governments and international/multilateral institutions, such as the G20, G30, World Bank (IFC), IMF, ECB, EIB, and European Commission.
His role extends beyond Oliver Wyman, as he is a consigliere in the Draghi and Meloni government administrations (Republic of Italy). Here, he plays a pivotal role in executing the country's Recovery and Resilience Plan, a key initiative for the nation's economic future, and attracting foreign investment from investors and multinationals.
During his leisure time, Davide enjoys delving into futurism, playing tennis, mastering the art of fly fishing, and immersing himself in the works of Blaise Pascal.
