Dan is a principal in Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Services Practice, based in Los Angeles.

He specializes in helping organizations navigate critical transformations, especially in the areas of sustainability, digital customer engagement, and operational excellence.

As the climate and sustainability lead for Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Services Americas team, he is currently working with his team to develop a report with the World Travel and Tourism Council to evaluate the upcoming mandatory environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting requirements in the US, Europe, and internationally, focused on the impact to travel organizations.

People are the key to our success. Even the best plan fails without the full engagement of those who are affected by it. We work closely with our client teams and involve a wide range of stakeholders early and often. We learn and iterate through frequent conversations with people across the organization. It’s these interactions that ensure the success of our efforts

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Dan worked in the energy consulting industry, where he advised utility and government clients on sustainability opportunities and challenges. He was involved in projects related to improving operational efficiency, designing policies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and understanding the regulatory implications of distributed generation.

Dan lives with his wife Madeline and their two-year-old rescue dog Bailey, who has the personality of a golden retriever in a much smaller body. Dan and Madeline enjoy the outdoor activities that SoCal offers, such as hiking the Santa Monica mountains, cycling the Pacific Coast highway, and playing golf at Penmar Golf Course.
