Christopher is a Seattle-based consultant in our Actuarial Practice. Before he started working with the Prophet actuarial software, Christopher had spent 2 years teaching mathematics at an international middle school in South Korea. This experience has helped him develop excellent communication and management skills which he now actively applies as a consultant: he learned to present technical concepts more clearly and with greater depth, manage junior employees and teams of students, and collaborate on school initiatives with coworkers. Now he enjoys every opportunity to mentor clients, OW analysts, consultants, and anyone interested in getting to know how to use Prophet.

Most of Christopher's clients are converting their models to Prophet or are interested in implementing existing models in Prophet. Christopher develops models for them, providing valuable guidance and recommendations. The biggest challenge he sees there is successfully implementing GAAP LDTI reporting and data management solutions. He helps clients integrate FIS Prophet with data solutions and generate disclosures for GAAP LDTI reporting.

Christopher’s personal interests include traveling: he backpacked across South Korea and stayed there to study and work for a few years; now he shares his hiking passion with his wife and son. He also likes playing golf, studying foreign languages, playing the piano, watching films, and trading in financial markets (options, stocks, and cryptocurrencies).
