Bruce is a vice president of Aerospace and Defense at Oliver Wyman Vector based in Seattle.

With almost 20 years of aviation experience, he has an extensive background in software and system development, wireless and web product management, and certification. He is largely focused on successful program delivery and guiding products and services from concept through launch.

Bruce rapidly assesses project needs, communicating and collaborating with customers to establish a path forward. He also thrives as a cross-functional team leader, bridging the gap between technical and creative team members to improve overall communication and create innovative solutions.

Technology is always improving but the need for customer focus and adoption throughout the delivery lifecycle is a constant. It’s all too easy for technical experts to lose sight of the question, ‘What problem am I solving?’ when building something new

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman Vector, Bruce held various positions in technical program management, product management, and design engineering. He started his career at a major American aeronautical company, before joining a wireless carrier where he combined his understanding of data networks, new wireless technology, and business skills. His love of airplanes eventually returned him to a consulting role, leading the design and delivery of new onboard capabilities for commercial aircraft. He earned his MBA at Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics, with an emphasis on marketing.

Bruce relishes the outdoors in his home state of Washington, especially the mountains. He served as a volunteer ski patrol for 10 years and has successfully climbed Mt. Rainier and other peaks in the Cascade Range. He enjoys biking and backpacking with his partner and is the proud father of two adult kids.
