In his nearly 20 years of consulting, Bashir has led transformation programs across banking organizations of various sizes. He is dedicated to helping large and regional banks navigate the strategic and operational implications of regulatory change while unlocking greater levels of operational effectiveness.

Throughout his career, Bashir has delivered value to banks through process, policy, and operating model redesigns. He has guided senior leaders in navigating new regulatory landscapes, overhauling lending processes to reduce cycle times, improving efficiency through operating model redesigns, and optimizing risk policies to unlock prudent revenue growth.
Bashir holds a degree in systems design engineering, with minors in cognitive science and management science from the University of Waterloo. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and a member of the Toronto CFA Society. Bashir lives in Toronto with his wife and their two children.
