Amber is a director at Veritas, a business of Oliver Wyman.

With more than 20 years of experience in the commodities trading and financial industries, she possesses a comprehensive technical knowledge of trading systems and underlying data. This integration aims to enhance the capabilities of traditional CTRM systems by leveraging the additional value provided by digital technologies.

Commodities play a crucial role in the global economy. The inherent market volatility and unique complexities of each commodity make for an intriguing career. However, what I truly cherish about my work is the opportunity to collaborate with the remarkable individuals in the industry

Prior to joining Veritas, Amber served as a senior manager in EY’s Commodities Markets Practice. During her tenure, she focused on establishing a practice in the commodities trading technology domain. Amber played a key role in leading CTRM system implementations and spearheaded the development of various proprietary tools and accelerators to streamline the implementation process.

Amber's professional journey also includes positions at Calpine, BP, and JPMorgan Chase, where she collaborated directly with traders to create customized applications and reports for on-demand data analytics. Drawing upon her extensive experience in both trading environments and technical expertise, Amber successfully managed the design and implementation of front office reporting systems for risk analytics. Additionally, she led the analysis of trading irregularities identified through these risk reporting systems.

Amber has a BS in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys hiking with her sons, spending downtime with her dog and cat, exploring the periodic table of elements with her nephew, and pursuing her passion for writing. Currently, she is working on a fiction book series inspired by her nephew, who is on the autistic spectrum.
