Alistair’s family background in aviation and travel — his father was a military pilot, and his mother encouraged exploration — sparked his own interest in the industry and adventure. He speaks four languages (English, Italian, Spanish and French), and has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
In the early years of his career, he worked as an engine expert and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation nominated Post Holder before working for prestigious leasing companies covering senior positions. He was responsible for managing, transferring, repossessing, and overseeing aircraft and engines all over the world.
His work has taken him across the globe including Dublin, Amsterdam, and Hong Kong where he supported deal sourcing, strategic acquisition, portfolio evaluation, exit strategies analysis (including passenger to freighter conversions) and technical due diligence. Most recently he covered executive positions for prominent MROs.
Outside of work, Alistair is a proud father of three children and during his spare time he enjoys travelling to new places and taking long walks with his loyal dog.
