Alex is a partner in Oliver Wyman’s Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and Private Capital Practices, in our London office. 

At Oliver Wyman, Alex quarterbacks our Financial Infrastructure, Technology and Services (FITS) platform, which focuses on balance-sheet light service providers that have rapidly emerged since the global financial crisis to fundamentally alter the composition and value creation in the financial services ecosystem. He has supported a number of industry-defining transactions in financial infrastructure, data and solutions, and has also helped many smaller, fast-growing innovative companies raise funding to finance their growth plan.

He particularly enjoys the variety, breadth, latitude and impact of his work, supporting innovation from early stage fintech to large scale transformation, across all areas of growth, such as environmental, social and governance (ESG), private markets, digitisation, digital assets, risk and compliance.

Alex has a Bachelor's Degree in European Social and Political Studies from UCL as well as a Master's in Economics and Philosophy from The London School of Economics and Political Science. He also enjoyed a short stint in politics and public institutions, taking part in a successful (and historic) presidential campaign. Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, traveling and is a keen rugby fan.
