Saudi Arabia is currently undergoing an unprecedented level of transformation, and it’s a privilege to be able to work on such once-in-a-generation topics. This requires out-of-the-box thinking and keen problem-solving, which is incredibly exciting

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Abdulelah was the managing director and partner for a consulting firm in Saudi Arabia. He finds great satisfaction in contributing to the transformation agenda of Saudi Arabia through his work in strategy consulting.

During his student years, Abdulelah played a pivotal role in founding and managing a startup that specialized in short-term and seasonal recruitment services. He has also successfully orchestrated several fundraising rounds for non-profit technology and educational initiatives.

For those interested in consulting, keep these three tips in mind: Networking is key — within the firm, on projects, and beyond. Stay curious — the industry is always evolving, and clients expect you to keep pace, if not be a step ahead. Lastly, empathize with your clients — understand their concerns, risks, issues, and aspirations

Abdulelah is an alumnus of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. Additionally, he has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and Northwestern University.

Outside of work, Abdulelah enjoys exploring the desert on camping trips and honing his skiing skills.
