Oliver Wyman Principal, Lauren Lyons has been included on the HERoes Future Leaders Role Model List 2024. This recognition honors efforts to promote women's inclusion both in the workplace and beyond.
During her tenure as the leader of Women at Oliver Wyman (WOW) in London, Lauren has successfully raised awareness of unconscious bias and organized roundtable discussions where senior male staff engage with women colleagues of different seniority levels through reverse mentoring. She led a sponsorship ‘”lunch and learn” campaign to educate consulting staff on the distinction between mentorship and sponsorship.
As a senior principal and career advisor, Lauren is a role model, demonstrating that senior positions can coexist with a fulfilling family life. Recognized as a go-to member for internal panels on flexible working and women's sponsorship, she actively contributes to Family Life at Oliver Wyman, promoting working practices that support women's development. Lauren is also deeply involved in campaigns raising awareness of issues affecting women, such as breast cancer and fertility.
