For the fourth year running, Rupal Kantaria, a Partner working across the Oliver Wyman Forum and our financial services practice, has been included on the EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Executives List.
Over the past year, Rupal has been appointed a strategic advisor to the 30% Club and worked with them to redefine their international strategy towards representation of all women. Bringing together FTSE 100 CEOs alongside young black teenagers, she co-leads the parliamentary International Women’s Day speaker showcase, highlighting the intersectional voices of ethnically diverse women. Rupal has published articles on the impact of COVID-19 on gender diversity, the importance of mentors and sponsors, and co-authored the British Business Banks’ “Alone Together” report into barriers and solutions for improving success among ethnically diverse entrepreneurs.
Discrimination and barriers to success are still prevalent for ethnic minority groups and Role Models are essential to change perceptions and show everyone that you can be successful in business while also being your authentic self at work.Suki Sandhu OBE, Founder & CEO of INvolve
