For the second year running, Oliver Wyman Managing Partner Nick Studer has been included on the EMpower 50 Advocates Executives List. This list recognizes senior leaders who are not people of colour but are dedicated to creating a more diverse and inclusive business environment for those who are.
Since his first recognition in 2020, Nick has gone on to sponsor a syllabus of education for the firm’s leaders focused on allyship, anti-racism, and advocacy. He has also launched a sponsorship program specifically for Black colleagues and has himself acted as a sponsor and mentor for a number of ethnically diverse professionals.
I hope my efforts have demonstrated how everyone can, and should, foster a stronger sense of belonging and support better diversityNick Studer, Managing Partner
To harness the power of diverse thinking, Nick has established a Global Leadership Council of colleagues from many different backgrounds to advise his Global Leadership Team and ensure business decisions are made by a diverse range of colleagues. He has also expanded the scope of Oliver Wyman’s Inclusion and Diversity team to create a greater impact with our clients and communities and broaden our racial equity work to influence societal change.
This recognition is really deserved by the many inspiring Oliver Wyman team members who have been leading our improvement on race and inclusion; it is a relief to know we are heading in the right direction, but we have a long way to goNick Studer, Managing Partner
