With a career spanning more than two decades, Pierre has collaborated extensively with major financial institutions across Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, advising C-suite teams on strategy, transformation, and digital initiatives. His deep-rooted experience in Africa, combined with his firsthand knowledge of the banking industry, positions him as a sought-after advisor in the region.
Specializing in disruptive strategies, new business models support, efficiency boosts, and ecosystem strategies and builds, Pierre has led more than 10 large-scale, bank-wide transformations for regional and pan-African banks, supported the launch of multiple digital banks, and developed mobile financial services strategies across the continent.

Pierre holds a BA in Economics with Development Studies from Sussex University and an MSc in Development: Project Management and Implementation from Reading University. Fluent in French, English, and Portuguese, he started his career working for the International Labour Organisation (UN) and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Africa.
He later joined Barclays Emerging Markets, where he built and managed the transformation department in one of the Group’s African subsidiaries. Pierre joined Oliver Wyman in 2010 and has played a pivotal role in driving significant projects across the continent ever since.
Pierre finds balance in life by spending time with his wife and three children, sharing his passion for the ocean, and playing music.
