Based in Dubai, Matthew is a partner in our Private Capital and Restructuring Practices, serving clients across India, the Middle East, and Africa.
With more than 20 years of experience, he specializes in investment strategy, pre-deal diligence, transactions, and post-deal integration, transformation and restructuring, including interim assignments.
Recognizing the uniqueness of each company’s situation, Matthew is dedicated to assisting corporates, whether they are in healthy, stressed, or distressed states. He is committed to taking decisive action — connecting strategy with practical, sustainable outcomes, all while maintaining a focus on value creation.
Matthew’s industry experience is vast, spanning multiple sectors. He has worked with sovereign wealth funds, investors, corporates, and governments.

Matthew’s previous assignments have provided him with deep expertise in financial services, real estate, and telecoms. He has collaborated with regional leaders from both public and private sectors to transform their ambitions from concept to implementation. For example, he acted as the interim COO for a listed property developer in the Middle East, revising the strategy, governance, and operating model. This breadth of experience provides him with a cross-industry view of best practices, enabling him to discern what works and what doesn’t.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Joint Honors from the University of Nottingham, UK, and speaks English, French, and German.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his family, cycling, skiing, and traveling.
