NEW YORK, November 22, 2024 Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting and a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE:MMC) announced today that Andrew Kuritzkes has rejoined the firm as Partner and Vice-Chair for the Financial Services practice in the Americas. Mr. Kuritzkes will be based in the firm’s New York City office.

"We are pleased to welcome Andy back to Oliver Wyman," said Mariya Rosberg, Head of Banking & Financial Services for the Americas. “His track record overseeing risk management at a global financial institution, his adept handling of high-stake situations, and his extensive industry and government advisory experience is a rare combination. Andy will help us deliver exceptional value to our public and private sector clients as they navigate an evolving environment.”

Mr. Kuritzkes was most recently a senior advisor in the Office of the Secretary at the US Department of Commerce. He served as Chief Risk Officer of the CHIPS Program Office, standing up the risk and compliance functions, and was simultaneously a member of the CHIPS Investment Committee, evaluating and structuring over $30 billion of CHIPS grants and loans.

Before joining the Department of Commerce, Mr. Kuritzkes was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at State Street Corporation. During his 11-year tenure, he played a pivotal role rebuilding the company’s risk management framework in the aftermath of the global financial crisis.

“My colleagues at Oliver Wyman have been a source of inspiration throughout my career,” said Mr. Kuritzkes.  “I look forward to collaborating with them as we help clients address the challenges of government and industry at a time of unprecedented change.”

Mr. Kuritzkes spent twenty-two formative years at Oliver Wyman early in his career. He joined the firm as a young lawyer from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and over time assumed a succession of roles at the firm, including consultant, engagement manager, partner, Vice Chair, and Partnership Committee chair.

Mr. Kuritzkes holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from Yale College.
