Alexandre De Juniac Joins Oliver Wyman As Senior Advisor To Support Its Transportation Practice

London, April 5, 2023 – Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm and a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), has announced today the appointment of Alexandre de Juniac as Senior Advisor for its transportation practice.
Alexandre, an established leader in the transportation industry with a decade-long career in the private and public sectors, will provide strategic advisory and support the expansion of C-level relationships. His work will help bolster the firm’s sector positioning and to work towards both the practice’s ambitious growth targets as well as in adjacent industries like financial services.
Alexandre is currently a Board Member of Simaero, JetAirlines and RyadhAir. He was previously Chairman of the Board of Directors of Europcar between 2021 and 2022. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of IATA – the International Air Transport Association – between 2016 and 2021, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air France and Air France KLM between 2011 and 2016.
Alexandre began his career in 1988 at the Conseil d'Etat as an auditor and then deputy general secretary. In 1993, he became adviser and then deputy director of the cabinet of Nicolas Sarkozy, then Minister of Budget & Communication. In 1995, he joined Thalès - formerly Thomson-CSF - where he held several executive positions. In 2009, he joined the cabinet of Christine Lagarde, then Minister for the Economy, Finance and Employment, as Chief of Staff before joining Air France in 2011.
