Reaction To Amazon's New Healthcare Business

Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced January 30 that they are partnering on ways to address healthcare for their US employees, with the aim of improving employee satisfaction and reducing costs. “It’s not news that jumbo employers are frustrated with escalating costs and lousy experiences in the healthcare system," Partner Sam Glick told Politico.
“It’s much more consumer oriented and much less partner-with-the-good-parts-of-the-system-oriented than I think any other announcement we’ve seen,” Sam Glick told Fast Company.
