Nikki is a mum with a passion for supporting Arsenal. In between
these responsibilities, she’s involved in almost every aspect of the
Oliver Wyman’s business operations, ensuring vital systems and processes
run smoothly.
During her time at the firm, Nikki became a parent to two girls. To accommodate her family life, she works from home at least one day a week, and will often work evenings to spend more time with her children after school. Nikki champions using flexible working to accommodate all circumstances, not just childcare, and is a role model for balancing a successful career with parenthood.
Becoming a mum made me exceptionally efficient at work: there’s nothing like having to collect your kids on time to focus the mind!
Nikki was hired into the consultant pool directly after graduating from Cambridge. She now applies the problem-solving skills she developed during this period to managing all the internal processes, systems, and special projects the Executive Committee trust her with.
I’d describe myself as the glue that holds everything together!
This hugely varied portfolio of responsibilities keeps things interesting for Nikki day-to-day, but she points to the people, in particular the life-long friends she’s made, as the reason she is so committed to Oliver Wyman and its future.
