The “Guide to Airport Performance Measures”, developed by Oliver Wyman for Airports Council International, aims to provide a useful set of performance measures across different categories for airports around the world.
This document defines and explains 42 individual performance indicators which are organized into six performance areas: Core, Safety and Security, Service Quality, Productivity/Efficiency, Financial/Commercial, and Environmental. Furthermore, the Guide also lists the factors that drive particular results, identifies the types of airports where each measure is applicable, and discusses the strengths and weakness of each measure as a benchmarking tool.
