Based in London, Tony is a partner in our Communications, Media, and Technology Practice and is Oliver Wyman’s Sports and Entertainment lead.

Prior to Oliver Wyman, Tony held various leadership and board roles, covering a wide spectrum of sectors. He spent eight years working in the Middle East as a professional advisor to several GCC governments, including four years as chief of staff at the Doha-based Al Jazeera Network.

More recently, Tony has advised many of the world’s leading sports organizations, federations, and investment groups on subjects ranging from international expansion, sustainability, the governance and policies necessary to embrace and succeed in a digital and rapidly changing content market, and the role private equity can play across a new sport investment asset class.

Tony is renowned for his commitment to inclusive performance. Within Oliver Wyman, he sponsors Pathways For Consulting, an initiative in collaboration with the Sutton Trust that aims to create equal opportunities and promote equity and inclusion in the consulting industry. He personally mentors Black consultants in the UK and USA, and champions the recruitment and development of diverse talent. He also regularly comments in the press on the topic of diversity, equity, and inclusion in sport. These efforts have seen Tony be recognized as one of Empower Top 100 Executive Roles models.

Beyond Oliver Wyman, he is a board advisor to Special Olympics Great Britain, an independent observer to the English Rugby Football Union Governance Review, a trustee and board member at Birmingham Museums and Art Trust, the largest museum network in the UK outside of London. He also contributes to the mission of Drive Forward, a leading care charity.

Away from his desk, Tony has numerous hobbies. He’s a keen cyclist and club member of VCC in St Albans. He is also a former vocalist and bass player, with a few singles and CDs to his name. As a football fan he supports Birmingham City. He is an avid reader, and a travel enthusiast. Most importantly, he is the husband of a writer and dad to three grown children, as well as two dogs.
