Partner, Global Head of Cyber Risk
 // . //  Our People //  Souheil Moukaddem

Souheil is the Global Head of Cyber Risk, and Partner of Communications, Media, and Technology practices in our Riyadh office. He has 30 years of experience developing and managing strategy, organization, and human capital projects, as well as implementing large transformation programs for government and commercial clients in the United States and Middle East.

Coming from an engineering background, Souheil has always been an inspired problem solver, which has aligned naturally with his interest in rebuilding and streamlining governments to positively impact civil society. This desire to accelerate breakthroughs led him to consulting, where he was able to marry problem-solving with helping governments develop in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

One’s North star should always be one’s value set and doing the right thing — that is what will ultimately drive one’s success, and the success of those around us

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Souheil was Executive Vice President and Managing Director at a global consulting firm in MENA, and before that, he established another global strategy consulting firm in the region. He also held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at a private equity firm with projects ranging from the Middle East to Malaysia.

In recent years, Souheil has developed an economic restructuring plan for a Middle East government, developed the strategy, operating model and implementation plan for a cybersecurity agency in MENA. He has led several strategy developments, organizational redesigns and change management teams at the largest telecom operator, the largest Ministry of Defense, and the largest petrochemical manufacturer in MENA, among others.

Consulting as a career is a marathon, not a sprint. You should model your path accordingly, and play the long game of learning and self-development

Souheil holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
